Entiat NFH is located in central Washington about 24 miles north of Wenatchee in Chelan County. The station is situated six miles southwest of the City of Entiat along the Entiat River. The hatchery site is about 7 miles from the confluence of the Entiat River and the Columbia.

Directions: Just as you approach the town of Entiat on State Highway 97A, go west on to Entiat River Road. Signing is located on the highway. Travel 6 miles to Roaring Creek Road, take a left, cross the bridge and turn at the first right into the hatchery entrance. Welcome!

Annual Kid’s Fishing Day

Saturday June 12, 2010 9am-1pm                                          
Children under 14 years of age are invited to bring your family to Entiat National Fish Hatchery for some fishing fun. We want you to have the best experience, so bring your own pole or we’ll loan one to you. We’ll even provide the bait. Entiat Valley Community Services Food Bank will provide a concession stand for lunch service.

Entiat National Fish Hatchery (ENFH) is located in central Washington about 24 miles north of Wenatchee in Chelan County. The hatchery site is approximately 7 miles from the confluence of the Entiat River and the Columbia. It sits on a beautiful 37 acres of land along the Entiat River and can be reached by traveling up the Entiat River Road off of Highway 97A.  It is one of three hatcheries in the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Complex (LNFHC). Entiat NFH was authorized to be built in 1939 by the Grand Coulee Fish Maintenance Project. It was constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation as one of the fish mitigation facilities for Grand Coulee Dam, Columbia Basin Project

The Entiat NFH is open to visitors year-round. The hatchery provides special events and educational activities that are co-sponsored with hatchery partners. People can enjoy a guided or self-guided tour throughout the facility and grounds.
