ORGANIZATIONS
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Entiat Chamber of
Commerce was originally formed in the early 1900s and was known as the Entiat
Commercial Club. Each year, the Chamber sponsors the Summerfest, the
Holiday Bazaar, the Highway 97
Olympics, and their annual banquet to recognize businesses and individuals for
their contributions to the community.
ENTIAT SCHOOL DISTRICT
#127
Entiat School District is located on the eastern slopes of the Cascade
Mountain Range at the confluence of the Columbia and Entiat Rivers. With a
PreK-12 enrollment of approximately 380 students, the school system serves as a
hub of community activities. Entiat is a family-oriented community with a
rich history of support for public education, including support for
construction projects and
maintenance and operation levies.

WOMEN’S CLUB
The Entiat Women’s Club was
organized in 1931, and has been an active organization since that date.
The Women’s Club started the first library in Entiat and remains its primary
sponsor to this date. They created the first City Park in Entiat and
spearheaded the drive to name Lake Entiat. Each year, they sponsor a
Firemen’s Dinner and all funds are given to Fire District #8, the local
volunteer fire department; they hold a rummage sale to acquire funds for senior
college scholarships; and they update the local phone directory and city
brochure annually.
ENTIAT VALLEY GRANGE
Entiat Valley Grange #1014
was founded on May 25, 1933, and its primary purpose was to assist the
agricultural farms in the Entiat Valley. Since that time, members have
enlarged their purpose to provide community service to all residents including
youth sponsorships. The Grange meets on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m.
FOOD BANK
The Entiat Food Bank
disperses food to those in need on the first and third Saturday of each month.
Summer and winter schedules fluctuate as to time of day. Current contact

SENIOR CENTER
The Senior Center is operated
by resident volunteers and has been in existence for over twenty (20) years.
They provide senior lunches at noon on Monday and Thursday only. The Senior Center is also a meeting place for the Women’s
Club and Historical Society once a month.
HISTORICAL SOCIETY
This society was
established in the 1980s and is responsible for documentation of the Entiat Valley
Museum artifacts, information and viewing hours at the Museum. They
meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:00 p.m. at the Senior
Center.
